Trimble MAPS continuously updates its map data so you can generate the best routes for your vehicles. Below are highlights of updates made by our team of mapping experts in North America for Q1.1 2020. For more details, please refer to the .pdf file attached to this article.

Overview
- Updates to the road network were made in 145 counties
- 59 new road construction projects were added
- Truck attributes were updated
- Truck through-travel restrictions were updated within 52 city limits
- Weight limits were updated in Alberta, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, Prince Edward Island, Rhode Island, Virginia & West Virginia
- Posted vertical clearances were reviewed and updated in Oklahoma and Kansas
- Tolls were updated to reflect new rates in Florida, Oklahoma, Ontario, Quebec, Rhode Island and Texas
- City points and postal codes were updated for the U.S. and Canada
- 18 new Places were added in the Places database (4 distribution centers, 2 manufacturing plants, 10 truck stops, 1 CAT scale, and 1 weigh stations)
- 45 new site polygons were coded (19 distribution centers, 12 manufacturing plants, 10 truck stops, and 4 weigh stations)
- More than 2,100 customer-reported issues were fixed
- More than 400 miles of new highway-level network was added to the United States
