If Weather data is licensed and installed, and you have an active Internet connection, you can select weather features in Applications Settings > Weather.

Weather

The Enable Weather setting enables/disables all weather reporting. The current online/offline status and time of the last weather update is displayed under the check box. When enabled, weather conditions are updated at least every 30 minutes. To see weather conditions on the map, select the Map tab > Weather in the PC*MILER application window.  

Select Weather Alerts Categories

Select which categories of weather alerts will be received in route windows, map displays, and weather reports. All categories except Other Alerts will be selected by default.
