Using Spreadsheets: Avoid, Favor or Override Roads

If the “Custom” option is turned on in the PCMSERVE.INI file, PC*MILER|Spreadsheets will use the avoid/favor road settings created in ALK Content Tools and shared to PC*MILER. Note that favoring a road does not absolutely guarantee that it will be used.
