If PC*MILER does not find an exact match when you enter a stop to create a route, it provides a pick list of possible matches. To disable this pick list, and allow PC*MILER to choose the best match:
- Go to File > Application Settings > Geocoding
- Uncheck Provide Pick List
The pick list cannot be turned off in all scenarios. For example, if the returned match of cities contains completely different city names, the software's logic does not make the assumption of the city to select. A pick list is required. (For example, if you enter the zip 23456, the pick list is required because this matches 5 different cities.)
