NOTE: PC*MILER 30 and forward

  1. Install the software on the workstation, choosing Default Network Settings.
  2. Once that is done, browse to your C:\ALK Technologies\PCMILER30\App directory.  
  3. Open the file user_ro.cfg in Notepad.
  4. Under [User Settings] - set "Workstation"=0
  5. Save file.
  6. In the same directory - delete user.cfg
  7. Re-open PCM30

Now Add Places should be enabled and you should also see the Custom Places from the server.
